By Stephanie Zakhem
The New Administrator Seminar is just around the corner. CPCO invites you on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12, 2016 to attend this year’s seminar, in preparation for your leadership journey.
This year, a limited number of spaces for this event has become available for newly appointed Principals as well! Registrations are being accepted on a “first come, first served” basis.
The seminar focuses on participation in professional learning designed to meet the needs of school leaders in the current Ontario education context.
Michelle is the Principal of Equity, Diversity and Inclusive Education for the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. In this role, she works with a variety of organizations to ensure the principles of inclusion and equity are communicated and supported for all students, staff and members of the community. Michelle has conducted presentations across Ontario in support of Equity and Catholic Education.
George is an educator and innovative teaching, learning and leadership consultant. He is also the author of The Innovator’s Mindset. George was one of the keynote’s at last year’s New Administrator Seminar and returns this year to present once again. He believes that the more well-rounded educators are, the more students will see them as real people and have an easier time connecting with them in the classroom. He works with educators to give them opportunities to become leaders within their school communities.
Event registration deadline: Friday, October 7, 2016.
